Thanks to those who will help me

My name is T. I am a man from the village of Siliplan in Myanmar . I work in the fields and I have always done everything I can to support my wife and our four children. Until recently we have always managed with hard work and sacrifices, but we were happy because there was so much love between us. In my village I am a catechist to try to give some hope to those who live in situations that are much worse than ours. My wife got sick

some time ago. The world has collapsed on me. Money was barely enough before. What was I supposed to do? How was I supposed to support my children? Could I have saved my wife? I love my wife and I have to do everything I can to save her. But the children? How was I going to support them? To feed them? I thought and thought of the best solution for many days. I was worried, scared and sad. Then I decided to ask for help for my children and took D., my second child, to the Via Pacis shelter. When she arrived she was very weak and I was terrified of losing her. The nuns treated her and taught her the Myanmar language because D. spoke only dialect. Now they are looking for someone who wants to adopt her from a distance so that she can study. I work a lot and I can see my children rarely and when worries and pain for my wife are unbearable hope, that someone will help us and that they may have a better future, gives me the strength. I thank God every day for the help I receive and I thank the Sisters and Via Pacis and all those who are helping us and will help us. Thank you
