Contribution to the management of a family home for orphans
Aim
After the very serious earthquake in Nepal in 2015, Via Pacis Association, in collaboration with Friuli Mandi Nepal Namasté Association which, since 2000 has been carrying out projects in Nepal, has contributed to the construction of a family home in place of the previous one destroyed by earthquake.
In 2016 the construction was completed and now we are annually committed to supporting part of the costs of running the house and training the children.
Beneficiaries
The beneficiaries of the project are 20 orphans aged between 4 and 16 who, after a period spent in tents and shacks with great inconvenience, have a home and a family to care for them again. After the lessons at school they are helped in their studies by teachers and staff of Mandi Namastè all volunteers.
