My older brothers

F. is a child abandoned in front of the door of our monastery. It happens many times because abandoning them is the only way to guarantee a future for them sometime. Immediately we have taken care of him and when he will ask us for his parents, we will support him in this process that has left so much pain in his heart. F. has been long-distance adopted by some guys in Italy, he call them “my older brothers and sisters”. After he was abandoned in his country, he has learned what it means to feel loved by someone in another country. He feels protected and loved and this relieves the deep wounds he carries inside, even if he does not look like because he is a happy child. Long-distance adoptions have this magic power of making people feel loved, although kilometers and pain that these children carry inside.
