Eucharistic Adoration

Dedicating some time to “be” in front of Jesus who is present and alive in the Eucharist; something  very important for every Via Pacis community around the world. According to some of them, it’s the principal dimension; according to everyone it’s the power to live out the demanding Gospel of peace. “But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him”. (John 4,23)

Who are the worshippers?

The worshippers are people who are in front of the Jesus Eucharist, giving him a precious thing: their time; but who worship and look to God and are touched by God, thus will be to everyone’s advantage. The second intent of adoration is in the fact of going with an open heart into all the world, that is in the traffic of our city, in our job, in our free time and in the worries of our family. Those who worship in this way open a haven to the presence of resurrected  Jesus, who acts alongside them, to give life and to heal the injuries of the world. God seeks people who would be open to go to the Eucharist and the world.

In today’s life, often noisy and disorganized, it’s of prime importance to get back the capacity of inner silence and meditation: the Eucharistic adoration allows this not only around the I, but in the company of that You full of love who is Christ, the God near us” (Benedetto XVI, Angelus of Corpus Domini, 10th June 2007).
