Novena and Pentecost Vigil

Filled with Easter joy, we are already preparing our hearts to receive, on the day of Pentecost, the coming of the Holy Spirit with all his gifts.

To live this special moment, the Catholic Church proposes the recitation of the Pentecost Novena to ask God to give us all His love through the gift of the Holy Spirit, so that He may descend upon the world with great power.

The Novena will start on Friday, May 14 and will end on Saturday, May 22 at 9 pm (Rome time), with the Pentecost vigil organized by CHARIS.

CHARIS proposes an online worldwide ecumenical event to celebrate together the 120th anniversary of the first baptism in the Holy Spirit. All Christians who wish to invoke the Holy Spirit on the Church and the world are invited to the Pentecost Vigil.
